The 2011 mHealth Summit Technology track will include topic categories that examine the technologies being deployed today while also exploring new technologies that are currently under development. Today there is a system of ‘Sick-Care’ in the developed world where incentives are not aligned to encourage a healthy population but rather a system of ‘No-Care’ where very few have identified the attributes leading to health and wellness, To address this wide gap in health delivery, mHealth technologies will enable improved health globally and at all income levels. mHealth technologies will also include commonalities that will allow global economies of scale to be achieved when reaching both the developed and developing worlds.
Interoperability and security among mHealth technologies is

practices across implementation, deployment, maintenance, administration, and
other aspects of technology deployment is of paramount importance.
